Tour Description
Experience the authentic nomad lifestyle at Song-Kul Lake (3016m)! This high-altitude paradise is surrounded by green pastures where shepherds live in yurts all summer. The tour takes you through breathtaking mountain passes, including the famous "33 Parrots." You will stay overnight in a traditional yurt, enjoy a bonfire under the Milky Way, and go horseback riding to a hidden waterfall and ancient petroglyphs.

Day 1: 2 Days in Song-Kul Lake as Nomad: Horseback Riding & Yurt Stay
The Road to the Sky We leave Bishkek and visit Burana Tower (ancient Silk Road city). Then, we stop at the scenic Orto-Tokoy Reservoir (look out for camels!). The drive continues through the Kalmak-Ashuu Pass, where landscapes change from red rocks to green alpine meadows with grazing yaks. We arrive at the Yurt Camp at Song-Kul Lake by 5 PM. Dinner and bonfire under the stars.

Day 2: 2 Days in Song-Kul Lake as Nomad: Horseback Riding & Yurt Stay
Horses & 33 Parrots After breakfast, we start a Horseback Ride to a mountain waterfall and a viewpoint with petroglyphs. The views of the lake are stunning! After lunch, we drive back to Bishkek via the spectacular Terkey Torpok Pass ("33 Parrots"), a winding road with 33 switchbacks offering incredible photo opportunities. We stop in Kochkor village for a meal before arriving in Bishkek in the evening.
